Vermont Law School students in the Class of 2017 have chosen to support improvements to the Chase Community Center as their Class Gift. They have established a goal of raising $15,000 by June 30, 2017.
Often described as the “heart of campus,” the Chase Community Center is an integral part of the VLS community. It is the home of, national and international celebrations, countless speakers from around the state, country, and world, Student Bar Association meetings, study groups, lunch meetings, faculty gatherings, Seder dinners, and so much more.
Over the years, the Chase Community Center has been so well loved that heavy traffic has taken its toll. The center is in need of new chairs – the current fabric chairs are over 20 years old. A contribution of $200 provides “naming rights” for the chair. This can be in the donor’s name, or in the name of someone the donor chooses to honor.
We need 75 contributions of $200 to reach our goal! Can you help us get there?
The Chase Community Center was the beneficiary of the successful Class of 2009 gift. Those contributions funded the installation of the stage and podium—infrastructure that has served us well! We see impact of those who came before us, and witness the fact that philanthropy is alive and well at Vermont Law School. Let’s continue the tradition and leave a legacy that we can be proud of!
