Here we've listed many of the local hotels and inns within 30 minutes of South Royalton. If you plan on coming to town, please be in touch with the alumni office. We want to hear what you've been up to and show you everything you've missed since graduation.
VLS has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering via the Web. You can order transcripts using any major credit card. Your card will only be charged after your order has been completed. To order an official transcript...
The VLS Registrar's Office can provide an unofficial PDF of your transcript. There is no cost for this service, however, alumni who have outstanding balances with the law school will need to resolve those balances before a transcript will be sent.
Alumni are responsible for identifying whether an unofficial transcript is appropriate or if an official transcript is required. Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) rules and regulations apply to the information contained within all types of transcripts.
Often times alumni prefer to use a VLS email address when applying for jobs or admission to other graduate schools. However, alumni only retain their student email account access for one year after graduation. A forwarding address is a neat solution to this issue.
A Vermont Law forwarding email address will appear in the format email@example.com, and it can be set to forward to any designated email address. Alumni can create a forwarding address by registering for vlsConnect, then activating email forwarding.
VLS has special funds set up to help support our many alumni who the serve the public through their work in a non-profit or government agency and who qualify through high loan debt-to-income ratios. Learn about the application process.
Show your Vermont Law School pride! Barristers Book Shop carries a wide selection of VLS clothing and other VLS merchandise online.
Vermont Law alumni are invited to purchase annual memberships to the VLS Fitness Center. The 4,100-foot, one-story fitness center includes a spinning and yoga studio, as well as an exercise room with a mix of free weights and cardiovascular and weight training machines. The facilities also include men's and women's locker rooms with showers and restrooms, and storage for yoga mats and clothing. Alumni memberships are $200 per year and include entry to fitness classes and 24-hour building access with a gym ID card. The rate of suicide in the United States continues to increase every year. The VLS community is not alone in experiencing the repercussions, and suffering the losses, of suicide.
