To kick off 2022, the VLS Alumni Webinar Series presented by the VLSAA is bringing you an exciting discussion with functional nutritionist Liz Morgan JD/MSEL’01. During this one-hour event, you’ll learn cutting edge approaches to deep digestive healing that can help you cultivate a wise and loving relationship with your body, create more mental clarity, and reduce stress. Liz will share strategies to accomplish all of this, while also eating decadently and responsibly in the era of climate change. Join the movement to pass on a food culture that heals the earth, sequesters carbon in soils, and makes healthier, happier people. VLSAA Virtual Book Club | 30 Weeks to Awesome
For the first book club of the new year, we’ll be featuring “30 Weeks to Awesome” by Liz Smith JD’10. This book is your guide to finding that happy, healthy, awesome you by breaking down health advice into small, manageable steps. Each week you will be presented with a small amount of information and directed to pick a small action item. You can track your progress in just minutes a day using the daily log within the book. Complete as much of the book as you want ahead of the virtual gathering on Feb. 23, and then Liz will join the group discussion and answer your questions. Participation is free, and all you’ll need to purchase is a copy of the book (available via Amazon). Please register to receive the Zoom link.
