Voices from the Bench: Women’s Judicial Panel
This event offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from four distinguished Vermont judges about their personal and professional journeys within the judiciary. Justice Nancy Waples of the Vermont Supreme Court, along with Superior Court Judges Kirsten Schoonover, Elizabeth Novotny, and Navah Spero, will engage in a panel discussion about their paths to the bench, the challenges they have faced, and the insights they’ve gained throughout their careers. Attendees will gain valuable perspectives from these accomplished women, making it an inspiring event for both aspiring and seasoned legal professionals.

Hosted by the Women’s Law Society at VLGS, the Vermont Bar Association, and the Alumni Relations Office at VLGS, this event will take place at VLGS's Burlington office. Refreshments will be provided by Café Mamajuana. Join us to network with other legal professionals, including VLGS alumni, students, and members of the Vermont Bar Association.

Meet the Deans | D.C. Swan 'Tails
Take a break from the busy election cycle and join other Swans for a relaxed evening of drinks and great conversation. Beth McCormack, dean of the law school, and Dan Bromberg, dean of the graduate school, will be there to socialize with attendees. VLGS will provide light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be available. Johnny Pistolas, known for its street tacos and margaritas, offers a casual and convivial space perfect for this gathering.
