Reunion Challenge 2018

Reunion Classes (those class years ending in '3 and '8) competed to win the Reunion Challenge. The winner was the Class of 1978 with the highest participation rate (37%) in giving. We thank all of the Reunion Classes who together raised over $500,000 for the Fund for VLS.

How It Worked

The Class of 1978 won the competition, with the highest participation rate in giving (number of gifts/number of alumni in class) and was recognized at the Reunion Award Ceremony on Saturday, June 23, 2018, during Homecoming Weekend.

What Counted

All gifts received from July 1, 2017, to Saturday, noon  on June 23, 2018, counted toward each class’s Reunion Giving Challenge totals. Every new gift, cash or pledge, to any fund counted alumni in.

Why Participation?

Alumni participation rates have a direct impact on our finances and mission. Most directly, a robust alumni giving program allows Vermont Law School to offer students competitive financial aid packages, to provide student services, and to attract and retain quality faculty and staff.
