Marcia Brown earned her MSL in 1992 and her JD in 1995 from Vermont Law School. She operates a solo practice, NH Brown Law, focusing on environmental administrative law in New Hampshire. Marcia spent twenty-two years as a regulator, serving on the New Hampshire Wetlands Appeals Council, as the state’s Coastal Zone Management coordinator, and as a hearings examiner with the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission. She is a past commodore, a current school board member, and has served on numerous nonprofit boards. An avid hiker, runner, and blue-water sailor, Marcia joined the Alumni Association Board in 2025 and looks forward to continuing her service to the VLGS community.
