Breanna WeaverBreanna grew up in Columbus, Ohio. She studied at Capital University in Columbus before moving to attend Vermont Law School. At VLS, she completed her JD, MELP, and business law certificate. As a student, she served as a student ambassador and board member for Barrister’s Book Shop. She was also an active member of the LGBTQIA+ Student Alliance and If/When/How. She worked as a student clinician for both the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Clinic and the Vermont Law School Center for Applied Human Rights. In 2017, she graduated magna cum laude and, at graduation, was awarded the Alumni Association Award. Shortly after, she began working as a staff attorney at Boies Schiller Flexner in Hanover, New Hampshire.

In November 2018, Breanna began her current job as a staff attorney at the Justice for Victims Legal Clinic of the Vermont Network. She represents victims of violence in civil, criminal, and administrative proceedings throughout the state of Vermont. She has remained an active Vermont Law alumna by serving as an appellate advocacy judge, speaking at on-campus events, serving on the Lawyer Wellbeing Committee, and tutoring 1L students. In 2019, she was awarded the Women’s Law Group’s Alumni Phenomenal Woman Award. She looks forward to further serving Vermont Law by working on the VLSAA Board of Directors. Breanna lives in Randolph, Vermont and spends her free time playing with her young son, reading, and getting outdoors.
