Colleen H. Connor JD'85

Colleen H. Connor graduated from Vermont Law School with a juris doctor in 1985. She served on the Alumni Association Board of Directors for several years as the alumni representative to VLS’ Board of Trustees, before ultimately becoming a trustee. In total, Colleen served on the VLS Board for more than 15 years, and she spent the last two years as chair.
After graduating from VLS, Colleen was an enforcement attorney with USEPA Region II in Manhattan, New York, prior to moving to a private firm in New Jersey. In 1993, Colleen began a 25+ year career with GE as an environmental lawyer and then an environmental leader in several of GE’s businesses. In 2019, Colleen moved to her current position at Global Infrastructure Partners, a private equity firm based in New York City, London, Sydney and Mumbai, where she is a principal focusing on ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance), supporting existing assets to improve ESG performance and strive for excellence.
