Alexis Randall JD'19
Presidential Appointee
Alexis Randall is an Attorney Case Manager working in the U.S. Small Business Administration's Office of Disaster Assistance. In this role, she supports the administration's efforts to aid the numerous small businesses adversely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Alexis' prior professional experience includes internships at the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency, the City of Atlanta Law Department, and a private bankruptcy firm based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Alexis is a graduate of Spelman College, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She was a member of the Spelman and Morehouse Pre-Law Society, as well as numerous community service organizations focused on youth in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Alexis is also a graduate of Vermont Law School, where she earned a Juris Doctor degree and was the recipient of the Chase Fellowship, Williams Memorial Scholarship, and a VLS JD 1L Merit Scholarship. She was also a member of the Black Law Students Association and was named a top ten oralist in Appellate Advocacy.
Alexis, a native of Prince George's County, Maryland, enjoys playing softball, reading, traveling, and spending time with family (especially her twin brother) and friends. She also enjoys being a "dog mom" to her beloved Cocker Spaniel, "Spelman."
