Margaret "Peg" Mangan has served as an Administrative Law Judge at the District of Columbia Office of Administrative Hearings since 2007. Peg began her legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Vermont trial courts. She then worked as an associate with Sylvester & Maley, Inc., in Burlington, Vermont, and as the Workers’ Compensation Hearing Officer in the Vermont Department of Labor. Peg practiced and taught professional nursing in several states before entering law school.
Peg graduated magna cum laude from Vermont Law School in 1986. Before VLS, Peg earned a Master of Science degree from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Carlow University. When she is not working, Peg tutors children in D.C. Public Schools and runs around the city with her running group.
