Members of the VLGSAA Boston Regional Group invite you to partake in a fun morning of volunteerism in Quincy. This September 16 beach cleanup is organized by the Friends of Wollaston Beach as part of their annual participation in COASTSWEEP Massachusetts.
Since 1987, the Massachusetts Department of Conservation & Recreation’s COASTSWEEP program joins other volunteers around the world for the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup. After collecting garbage and other debris, and recording the findings, the data is used to create solutions for keeping trash out of our oceans.
